I was both an AP student, and in remedial classes at various points in my school career, depending on the Shohei Ohtani Japanese professional baseball pitcher L.A Bat Flip T-Shirt moreover I will buy this school system (dad was military, so we moved around a lot). I’m also both a high school drop out, and I graduated summa cum laude and with departmental honors from university. In my experience, US public schools aren’t very good at evaluating students. And even when they do, they don’t have adequate resources to REALLY optimize the learning experience for all of their students, especially neurodivergent ones, like me. The “A” students work for the “B” students managing the companies owned by the “C” students. Or something like that. I knew a man who was a brilliant unity coder but couldn’t do anything else. He couldn’t figure out that the drawer labeled beakers contained beakers. He couldn’t figure out how to ship things at UPS. He thought “I was arguing about Chinese politics on Reddit” was a legit reason to be 3 hours late to an important meeting. Some people just manage to minmax in real life

Speed does not equal intelligence, quality work or competence. It’s easy enough to turn garbage in ahead of schedule. One could also turn-in something brilliant right on schedule, or late. I’ve met people with slower processing time (?) and people that need to understand the Shohei Ohtani Japanese professional baseball pitcher L.A Bat Flip T-Shirt moreover I will buy this whole process before beginning a task. They didn’t always finish first, but their work was just as good, and sometimes better. There’s a reason intelligence and wisdom are different stats. I come from a family of doctors and lawyers, none of them can take care of themselves. My dad, who is brilliant, is the definition of high intelligence, published multiple studies, and low wisdom, got lost at a marathon and assumed if he just followed the racers he’d get to the end, 2 hours later he hadn’t made it. Some people also just have their own pace, if it’s not an issue for them they probably assume the pace they go at is fine.
