Where it’s appealing is for the Shenseea Baddie Beach shirt it is in the first place but poverty stricken. Those who don’t have and/or can’t afford health insurance; then obviously Universal Healthcare is a no-brainer. As a veteran I oppose a national healthcare plan for the US because I don’t think the US government is mature enough to run this kind of a program. Our government is absolute crap when it comes to effectively using funds for the national good. The primary evidence I would cite is the Veterans Administration. The reports of how bad the VA sucks are conservative. They try, but the services are usually too little too late and a perfect example of bureaucracy being so in the way it’s nearly impossible to get meaningful care……….very similar to the reports you hear coming from the likes of Cuba.

What Americans fear isn’t free healthcare, it’s giving our government power over our healthcare. Another case of “look how the Shenseea Baddie Beach shirt it is in the first place but idiots work against their own self-interest” when it’s really just others not being able to understand why a decision made is entirely rational to the person making it. Americans were founded on the idea of the government being subservient to the people and a Constitution that works to ensure that will always be the case. In most Americans opinion giving our government any more power over our everyday lives than is absolutely necessary is an abhorrent thought. What you see in so much of current American political arguments can be reduced down to whether the role of government should be to provide for the people or to get out of the way and allow the people to provide for themselves. Whether the government should expand to a point where it can take over and care for the people or be as small as possible to provide for the common defense, provide a forum for disagreements between the states and maintain common currency. This is why many feel that there is no real two-party system anymore because the conservatives aren’t even ready to reduce governmental reach to achieve that idea of “minimalist”…….not that the governmental structure in place would ever let that happen anyways. And that’s what scares so many of us……..the fact that we may already be beyond the ability to achieve subjugation of the government to the will of the people if needed. Trump, Biden……it doesn’t matter. Neither of them should have the power they currently do.
