My understanding is that they are not against heathcare but against anything where the Scott Summers X-Men ’97 i want to believe shirt In addition,I will do this government pays for you. They think that once they pay, they can have control over how you use it. Therefore, taking freedoms away. They are against losing freedom of choice. Higher taxes. I don’t want that. It’s not free and you know that because you put quotes around free healthcare. The wait times are extremely long. Our local US hospitals have frequent cases of Canadian and European patients coming to get care. No one has a right to force someone else to pay for their healthcare. That is what it is. You’re forcing someone to pay more taxes and pay for your service. The US government is incredibly incompetent and ruin everything they touch. This would quickly extend to healthcare. It all boils down to political rhetoric. The rich keep themselves rich and the poor poor with rhetoric about how people who aren’t rich aren’t trying hard enough, and too many of us poor folks internalize it and parrot it to each other, to the end that it has become a monetary pandemic of sorts, created in the lab of rich white land owning capitalists. Lots of Americans don’t trust their government to appropriate funds correctly for a taxpayer funded government controlled healthcare system. The system in the US sucks right now cause it tries to be free market but can’t because there is a significant amount of government interference that gums up the works.

Apparently you’ve never been to a veterans administration hospital, have you? That’s what would happen to healthcare. When it’s ran by the government, only imagine it on a national scale. And that doesn’t even include the corruption and greed that would happen. Because they look at the places who were supposed to have it all figured out; like Canada. And they realize that an emergency room visit unless you are actually dying, it’s not uncommon to have you sitting there for 24 hours. Or months for an MRI or to see a specialist. Basically, it’s beautiful in theory —but unless it were somehow executed properly (and how?), it would be very hard to argue that it wouldn’t be a MASSIVE DOWNGRADE for someone who has excellent health insurance in the United States.
