Overall though another enjoyable Batman installment. Even with some issues and a long runtime, I’m definitely going to watch it again in theaters. Back in ’08, when I saw that Batman/Joker prison dialogue scene in The Dark Knight, I was amazed that the Shaking Hands With His Voters Shirt moreover I will buy this best scene in a superhero movie could be just the good guy and the bad guy talking. And now in 2022, Batman and the Riddler did it again. Just like DeNiro/Pacino in Heat. Damn. Also, (and I may be alone on this), I would’ve loved to see this movie and Juaquin Phoenix’s Joker take place in the same universe. That Joker and this Batman meeting up would’ve been epic, imo. For a second, I thought we were going to get Paul Dano doing a Harry Osborne, “sooo goohhd” with the pumpkin pie he ordered.

Was the Shaking Hands With His Voters Shirt moreover I will buy this DA in the movie based off of Chesa Boudin, DA for SF? There were a lot of similarities. Those were the best live action Batman scenes ever. Nothing even comes close. That is how you do Batman. Haven’t had this since Nolan. Definitely seeing this at least two more times this weekend. Imagine Bryan Cranston as Mr. Freeze in this universe. TDK trilogy has a lot of iconic lines that are still being quoted today. Do you think The Batman has similar iconic lines? What do you think they are? I like that they’re doing newer comic arcs for these movies. Hoping the next villains are Mr. Freeze played by Christopher Waltz and Professor Pyg played by Javier Bardem. Was the guy ranting about the rich people during the memorial scene supposed to be Joe Chill? He was saying “don’t I know you” right after talking about the dead rich (obviously could just be because he’s talking to Bruce Wayne), but then disappeared right afterwards. Okay maybe im reading into it too much but it’s a riddler movie so I’m just gon a assume no coincidences. When they showed the Riddler video ‘revealing’ Thomas Wayne paid Falcone to silence that reporter, the word HUSH was scrawled across Thomas Wayne’s face in big letters. Feels like a hint to me. Possibly even a… Clue?
