There’s different sorts of smarts. I’m the Seiya Suzuki Later Japanese professional baseball outfielder T-Shirt in addition I really love this same, dumbass who tricked a smart girl into liking him, and she’s smarter in just about every way but one time she (literally) scanned a document and didn’t understand why she couldn’t edit the file in Word. It’s fairly common that someone with a very high IQ may lack discipline, have executive function problems, or simply fail to see the necessity of doing everything fast. So being smart does not equal successful or good at everything. Someone with very high intelligence may also have very strange intelligence, where every simple task leads them to question why, and how, and to consider all of the alternatives, instead of just getting shit done. Someone who is highly intelligent may consider the questions of why and how and alternative explanations to be of the highest value, whereas doing the dishes or other tasks are very simple and low priority, or even boring.

Someone with average IQ will look at the Seiya Suzuki Later Japanese professional baseball outfielder T-Shirt in addition I really love this highly intelligent individual and think “they lack common sense and are lazy.” And that might be true! My girlfriend is kind of the same way. Sometimes she is so god dang slow at things I think are just simple. Yet she has a 3.89 GPA and I have a 2.8 I have a bachelor in applied mathematics and currently doing my masters in both mathematics and data science. However, during the intro week I was known as the slowpoke after 2 days. I taught my mom patience. Everything i do just takes a little longer lol. Unless I’ve done something 10000 times, it just takes longer. Speed in completing tasks doesn’t reflect on intellect needed to accomplish them. Sometimes people perform a task better because they took their time or respond to deadlines.
