Colin Ferrell’s voice in his very first scene is a spot-on Danny Devito impression. This one I have to put a bunch of spoiler tags because I am referring to other movies. Kimi, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Scream 2022. Did you notice how like in once upon a time in hollywood and scream, where mikey madison was set on fire, in this movie, catwoman had to listen to somebody get murdered, like how Zoe Kravitz’ character Angela heard somebody get murdered in Kimi ? I like it when they take similar concepts across movies and tie it to the Season of the witch shirt in addition I really love this same actor Not saying Pattinson isn’t ripped, but he isn’t Ben Affleck huge in this movie. And so I felt like his Batman scenes weren’t as menacing – you have a tall guy in a weird costume approaching thugs and something needs to be done to create a menacing tone. Here comes the stomping. I felt that was a really good idea esp when it is coming out of the darkness That said, I didn’t care much for the Bruce Wayne scenes in this movie. They felt like they broke up the pacing of the Batman movie. Since I think movies nowadays are just 2 hour video games, the way it came across to me is like in South Park when the kid takes off his costume to come home to his parents arguing. There’s the outside world with the make-believe and the fantasy, and there’s the returning to home stuff where you have the secondary plot, and never the two shall meet except maybe at the end? Except I’m not even sure that the Riddler knows who Bruce Wayne/Batman are. I think it’s left intentionally vague and ends up getting dismissed by Batman making fun of the Riddler and calling him a noob

On the Season of the witch shirt in addition I really love this topic of Bruce/Batman, I like it when Bruce Wayne is an interesting character. In this movie I didn’t feel like Pattinson was doing anything special when acting as Bruce. He was just acting as some generic man who found out that his dad made a simple mistake. Which btw, was it really so bad? I thought they were going to copy Batman: The Telltale Game with Thomas Wayne secretly working with the mob. I’m trying to find the scene but I swore I remember Thomas Wayne having to stitch up Falcone whiel Bruce watched from above (mentioned in 2022 movie) in the Telltale Games. But in this movie, we have Thomas Wayne trying to run for Mayor and just wanted to shut up some reporter. When he went to the mob it went too far and instead of being in the mob’s pocket he wanted to go to the police and that’s why he died. sure that’s not you know, lawful good, but it isn’t evil either, to me. Felt like it was just something to create drama but the writers didn’t want to ruin Thomas Wayne’s legacy.
