My dad and I had to suck her out of it and we literally thought she was going to die, because it was so hard to get her out because it’s almost like a solid even though it’s kind of liquidatious. It’s also really slow. I actually lost a lot of my memories from this terrible event so I actually don’t remember how we got her out, but I think vaguely my mom might have gotten a ranger with a jeep to suck her out with a tow line or something? It eats you really slow and the School Is Important But Hockey Is Importanter Vintage T-Shirt it is in the first place but reason it’s dangerous is it’s compressing you. Pretty much, never go up to a creek where a beaver dam is, the School Is Important But Hockey Is Importanter Vintage T-Shirt it is in the first place but quick sand is like a big pit that you can’t see and the top layer of soil is not really there and it will give away into a big cavern of wet soft mud. I hardly ever get to tell this story to people and pretty much I’m the only person I actually know who has a story of real quick sand eating someone up. I think because of this we had multiple school assemblies, spent hours watching quicksand training videos and had guest speakers. I was so terrified about falling into quicksand while walking to or from school I started having panic attacks The last time I saw a quicksand scene on television was in the BBC production of Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett. I believe it was from the Hound of the Baskervilles, in which the villain escaped into the Moors and ended up disoriented so that he stepped into quicksand and was gradually sucked in.
