Finally a place to share this! In the Sawtism (autism) shirt in addition I really love this 1990s in south Norfolk, I used to get the bus to college from my little village. It took over an hour for what would have been a 25 minute car ride. One of the bus drivers looked like a certain now deceased rock star, and we called him that. He used to stop the bus outside the house of a woman he was having an affair with, which was just before my village, go in and presumably have sex with her, then get back on the bus and continue the route as if nothing had happened. This had apparently been going on for a while and continued for some time that I was at college. Eventually her husband and possibly his wife found out as did the bus company and he was sacked. I think one of the other drivers on the route was the wronged husband. It was wild really; so blatant and literally everyone on the bus knew! It’s clear he would do anything for love… but when the husband came home he was out of there like a bat out of hell.

Hahaha I can’t believe I never thought to make that joke at the Sawtism (autism) shirt in addition I really love this time, it wasn’t long after Iwdafl came out! There were rumours they did it on the bus as well, which was… another thing entirely. Close! Bus used to go from Norwich to Kenninghall and I think it went to Long Stratton at one point. I lived in Banham at the time. Meatloaf. And in fairness to the late Loaf, this guy was way bigger which was unusual at the time and he probably died younger. Bus was blocked, as a fence had blown over allowing an enormous flock of sheep to escape who were running all over the place. Bus driver got off and started rounding them up. She came back on 10 mins later and was like ‘kids I’m gunna need some help’ so she made us all go help. We got all the sheep back in the field by forming a human corridor, she found the farmer who came and sorted. We were about 45 mins late to school and the bus lady came into the two high schools and sixth form to tell the teachers what had happened and that the kids had been great. We all got gold stars from the school. Best morning bus ride ever!
