Oh I have a bus driver story! Going home from a nearby town and it was the Santa The Offspring 257 Band Christmas shirt Additionally,I will love this last bus. Again in the middle of nowhere but there were 2 other people on the bus. Driver stops on a country lane surrounded by farmers fields, and runs off the bus, locking us in: me (17yo punk girl), a lad a bit older than me and a woman I’d say in her 50s or something (can’t quite remember, this is 30 years ago). We sat in uncomfortable silence for about 10-15 minutes and the driver got back on, said “sorry about that, I needed a crap” and carried on. After a moment the older woman said, more to herself than me or the bloke, “but there isn’t a toilet anywhere…” Bless her, shes never taken an emergancy dump in a field before while the resident cows start wandering over to see whats going on. Apropos : There is a school of thought that dogs were first domesticated in order to fulfil the role of toilet paper.

My family was once selling a three piece sofa via a newspaper ad (25 years ago when that was a thing). We had a man call us and ask us “what number bus?” he should get to our house… When we got over our confusion we had to explain to an adult man that he would probably find it very difficult to transport a three piece sofa back to his home via the Santa The Offspring 257 Band Christmas shirt Additionally,I will love this bus. I advertised a sofa for free on Facebook marketplace ‘collection only’. A woman turned up to get it on foot with a pushchair that she thought she could load it onto! A pushchair!! Luckily my husband was home and said he’d drop it at hers in the car. I can’t drive, which is why I’d said collection only. That tangentially reminds me of our old neighbours (we’re all telling random stories here so fuck it). They were a lovely young couple, but hopeless at “adulting”. Anyway, they moved back home to their parents’ houses in a village about 6 miles away. He had a bicycle. It was quite a nice one, worth some money.
