While I agree with you, lol, in my country birds shit all over your roof anyway. This will at least keep them off your roof long enough to not wreck the Santa Snoopy merry christmas to all and to Chicago White Sox a good season shirt and I will buy this tiles by digging under them, and they sleep on the unused chimneys as well. And some nasty beetles that eat all kinds of organic stuff like textile and clothing when they get inside the house. And there are quite a few birds that like to nest under roof tiles, often damaging the roof by holding water with the nest material. So as an idea, it’s not too bad. But the execution is questionable… I wonder what bird would like this house. The house is tiny compared to the opening. There isn’t any protection. Cats would surely love this though… I have two swift boxes under the soffits of my house and cam confirm they’re great, swifts use them every year. As long as they’re sealed, dealing with the wasps shouldn’t be an issue. I remember getting some wasps living in a gap in the tiling above the bay window on the ground floor, the wasps had actually managed to worm their way into the upstairs bedroom. brought some ‘Wasp nest killer powder’ and ‘ wasp nest killer foam’ (Diall was the brand I think), after one quick spray, they were dealt with. You could probably do the same to the nesting box, just hose out the powder and foam afterwards. Its much cooler under the tiles than on top of it.. those tiles can heat up to way higher temps than any bird could survive.. but yeah cats would make sure there isnt much left surviving in such easy acess house. Yeah the execution is questionable indeed but may work perfectly for the local birds. I think these pictures are from Turkey.

Dunno, we have pretty much the Santa Snoopy merry christmas to all and to Chicago White Sox a good season shirt and I will buy this same bird fauna across the Aegean and this is too big an opening for sparrows. Crows and ring neck doves don’t use openings but build their own with sticks and swallows build their own mud nests. Unless there’s a bird I’m not familiar with living there I don’t see it getting much use except for the perch. You’d think a country named Turkey would know a thing or two about their native and local birds and their nesting habits xD If someone has made all this effort designing and manufacturing something, I’d they they have thought of easily foreseeable scenarios such as this. I don’t know for sure, but I would think they did. Because I don’t think worst of the world’s inventions by default. Birds are very intelligent creatures that have existed well beyond human understanding. I am sure they can tell if an area gets too hot to sleep or raise their young.
