others (ngos, people, govts, un, etc) have been drilling wells for decades. 2) maintaining wells is not easy. 3) wells dry up. 4) Africa is huge. It’s great for publicity, but it’s not as exclusive or groundbreaking (pun intended) as people think it is. Most people just don’t know anything about the Santa Grinch Texas Longhorns toilet Christmas 2023 shirt Additionally,I will love this realities of it. I see alot of comments about maintaining a well. I’m not sure what kind of wells y’all have but one in Texas and one in my home in Italy. Both are over 30 years and still pumping. They are used to mainly water the grass daily front and back lawns. Also before they drill they can do sonar to see where it’s best to drill. Well can dry up but a good ran usually fixes that. The main reason is because no organization really wants to solve the problem. They want to look good showing they are doing stuff but not to solve. They want you to donate to feed the children. Look at all organizations and look at the top people how much they are making per year. Usually it’s around 3 to 12 million. Meaning your money pays them before anything goes to the kids. There was one country, I think Pakistan, where wells contained arsenic. You can’t just randomly drill wells without checking them.

MrBeast’s activism is largely performative. Africa doesn’t need handouts, it needs meaningful investment and responsible governments. There’s little long term benefit to donations. Sure you can donate shoes to children but that doesn’t do much, in fact it’s harmful for the Santa Grinch Texas Longhorns toilet Christmas 2023 shirt Additionally,I will love this local economy since a lot of donated items find their way to the market and are just sold for profit since they were acquired for free. Even if the shoes aren’t sold it’ll just be a few people who will get a pair and have shoes for a year or two. In contrast a meaningful change would be to support local cobblers make and sell their shoes. This not only supports the economy and a skilled trade but also produces shoes that will be sold in prices appropriate for the region. It’s a win win.
