i actually participated in the Santa butt If you don’t like Pittsburgh Steelers merry kissmyass christmas shirt and I love this free fly (free week) event. All i can say is the game has a shit ton of potential but that is if they’re ever going to fully release it. The game runs extremely poor even on high end PCs. The performance differ depending on where you are, most of the time people set their spawn point on space stations instead of the big cities because the big cities are just so extremely demanding. My i5 10400 16gb gtx 1660 super (not the best i know) is getting around 20-40fps in big cities and others that i’ve asked who have higher specs (rtx 3060, rtx 3070, 3070 ti stronger single core CPU and 32 to 64gb ram) than mine says their PCs are struggling to hit 60 in big cities as well. Also not to mention the constant stutters as you enter certain areas.

The server performance is also very bad, and it directly affects your ingame FPS as well. Sometimes when the Santa butt If you don’t like Pittsburgh Steelers merry kissmyass christmas shirt and I love this server is good your FPS will be better but if the server is horrible then your FPS will be bad as well. The gameplay is cool but i think a free week event is not long enough for you to fully explore and feel the fun star citizen offers. It’s not a game for everyone, it caters towards a specific type of gamers because there are PVPs in the game but its not similar to other PVP shooter games because how bad the server is, you will always feel the delay from what i’ve seen. Most of the time you will spend grinding money by doing other missions anyways, unless you specifically track down players to kill, So i guess it’s better suited towards those who likes to grind.
