I hate when someone says “as you know…” and then states an obscure point with no source. Usually, it’s done to establish a “fact” that isn’t true, by pretending that it’s common knowledge and that the San Francisco do it for the Bay shirt But I will love this listener is ignorant if he says, “this is the first time I’ve heard that.” I hate this too I have OCD and I’m not trying to gatekeep. However, when people say “I’m so ocd” because they generally like somethings in a specific way or manner it makes me annoyed. My mum still says my sister has OCD because she likes things clean, or how she thinks she has it because it annoys her when the pillows on the sofa aren’t straight. I just can’t make her understand that no, something bothering you is not OCD. Wanting things looking a certain way is probably not OCD. Liking a clean house is not OCD. That’s just normal.

Not being able to take a drink because you think there’s a possibility there’s glass in your drink and you’ll die if you drink it, or the San Francisco do it for the Bay shirt But I will love this house will burn down if you don’t make sure all the wires are unplugged, or someone will die if you don’t repeat a pattern? Probably OCD. Mine has caused me not to be able to sleep. Not to be able to leave the home. Panic attacks. I struggle every day. I get so irrationally annoyed by people who say they have it so flippantly when really they’re just an ignorant moron. I don’t think it’s bad for people who are in the process of getting diagnosed and suspected they might fall on that. Cause getting tested for adult female autism (that presents extremely differently then males/ boys/ girls)
