Now I have worked on myself and it’s still a process of course, no one is perfect, but I’m with the Samurai Abbey Road shirt in contrast I will get this person I want to be better for as she and my kids deserve the best dad and husband I can be. I guess once you find that person that makes you want to be the best version of yourself then you are perfectly content in that relationship. Idk sorry if I rambled and didn’t really answer the question. I feel that being in relationships one after another makes the sparks fade. I don’t think u can feel that excitement! First relationship was 2.5 years, 3 months later I started another that lasted 5.5 years, a few months later I started another that’s been going for 12 years. I have not been in a single argument or even disagreement with my partner in the past 17-18 years. Some people are just easier to get along with as partners. Some people like myself are happy in monogamous relationships. But sometimes what you need in a partner changes, particularly as your life circumstances change as a young adult. I have been lucky to meet outstanding partners and have outstanding relationships. But to be real, half of the success, and therefore responsibility, is in my hands. It takes two, so ensuring you have your own half straight is the first thing you should worry about if you want a relationship to last. You need to be someone worth keeping around, and if you can nail that then the decision to keep someone else around tends to fall in your hands. If you, yourself are worth keeping around, and you find someone else worth keeping around, you tend to stay together for a while.
Samurai Abbey Road shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
I honestly don’t know, just seemed like every time I broke up with someone, there was someone else that I guess had just been waiting and stepped in. Before my wife in my early 20s I was just me. I was fine with that. And then we were we. First us and then as parents. Happy, but stressful times. After I lost her to cancer. I was just a single dad to our then 12 & 16 year old children. They are young adults now and after all these years of being a single parent I don’t really care about me anymore. I never thought I’d want to move into a 55 and up community but I don’t see that happening. Not sure if this Samurai Abbey Road shirt in contrast I will get this answers your question but for my single years, I’ve made do. I do not like it but it is what it is. I hope to meet my part two but I have accepted that may not happen. I’m fine with that, part one was good enough.
