Some of why salaries are higher is Because in the Rome Flynn shirt What’s more,I will buy this usa you have to fund your own health insurance and retirement pension. Your employer and the gvt only cover part Because in the usa you have to fund your own health insurance and retirement pension. Your employer and the gvt only cover part The higher your income is, the lower as a percentage of income your paying on health insurance premiums, and typically good companies to work at will subsidize something like 85% of the cost of the insurance. Depends on who you work for. The monthly cost of our health insurance from my dad’s company is a drop in the bucket compared to his salary. Comparatively, what I pay annually towards my healthcare benefits is minuscule for the percentage that would be taken from my salary in taxes if I had the equivalent income in Europe. I pay ~1.8% of income in healthcare costs, and a tax rate of 24% so 25.8%. In Germany, I would pay 43% in taxes, not including any costs towards elected private insurance. In the US, my social security benefits maxed will be $43,524/yr. payments, while in Germany the max on the mandatory pension would be $27,000/yr. That’s not taking into account the 19% tax addition over 30 years that I’d miss out on and can’t invest on my own, or the difference in income for the same role between the US and Germany. Even if I take out my cost for college, I’m still rough estimate coming out substantially ahead.

As an example, say my income is $75,000/yr., and never increases – if I took that 19% extra that I’d spend in taxes in Germany, take it down to 10% to account for maybe extra costs somewhere else, and invested that in a 401(k), after 30 years, I’d have a retirement investment of close to $1.5MM – again, not even touching my social security account. America tries to attract the Rome Flynn shirt What’s more,I will buy this best from around the world, we don’t care where you come from as long as you can do the job. Many countries can’t say this – also pay the best to attract the best. Plus, it’s expensive I guess compared to most countries, especially where these types of jobs are. Europe pays less, of course social nets come with that pay. Basically it’s easier to get very rich and have a lot of disposable income in the USA. It’s easier to not starve in Europe. Two different ones to understand society tbh. I had a(n American) friend that always said the USA was great as long as you were young, white, productive, ambitious and healthy. The moment any of those stopped being true the more laid back European lifestyle was in every way better.
