Dude why do you care if girls don’t look at you? And what’s wrong with 5.5? Hope you mentioned 5.5 is correct and it’s not 4.5. If it’s 5.5 then no need to worry at all. And yes people don’t mind you even if you are their neighbour. 3 years ago I moved to stay in an apartment, even today I don’t know who stays above me and below me. Too much inference in just 2 days. Maybe it’s your nervousness or anxiety of being in a new city and new job that is manifesting itself as such insecurities. Those who avoid talking to people of shorter height are not worth talking to. Chill and enjoy earning money. Eat, travel, and do all which you like. Networking can happen. And remember it is overrated. It’s been 3 weeks and I’m on the Ricky Martin Tiburones shirt and by the same token and same boat buddy. 🫠 A girl sitting in her cubicle, all awkward, little to no interaction…it was a nice reality check. I know a 5 ft tall guy who is engaged to an extremely sweet and beautiful girl who is 5 ft 4 inches. He’s short but very attractive, charming and confident. I’m not say all girls care about height. Many do. But many don’t. And you only need to find 1 good woman in time.

Ricky Martin Tiburones shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Just focus on being charming and funny and confident. Stay fit. Don’t try n get any girl right now. Just establish yourself as someone who’s friendly and dependable. Everything else will come in time. Its not you but your peers. Unfortunately you landed in a company where your colleagues are judgemental. I have friends from my 1st company who are 5”4’ -5’ and trust me they are one of the Ricky Martin Tiburones shirt and by the same token and best people i met. It’s not easy when you are surrounded by such people but it’s not the end of the world. Have faith. This city has really good people you are yet to meet One advantage of short guys is they have easy chances to look muscular. Do some workout & improve your appearance (not for others but yourself). Its always good to be the best version of yourself
