I have never heard of something like that. It sounds a little weird. If he wants to cancel the Rich Men North Of Richmond Shirt in addition I really love this reservation he can do so himself. He can also request extra money through the resolution center without cancelling the reservation. If i was in your position I would personally contact Airbnb support. I can’t find any information online either about Airbnb changing their fees for the summer. Is the host possibly lying? All fees are added at booking. Plus, hosts don’t have anything to do with fees. They are collected by Airbnb. Do not pay anything. Prices do go up in the summer especially if he has smart booking turned on (air bnb picks the best price for the current market) so his nightly rate may be higher now but that’s not your prob. That’s one of the perks of booking in advance. Do not pay him extra.

Rich Men North Of Richmond Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Those are his prices though, not to be confused with Airbnb’s 3% fee to the Rich Men North Of Richmond Shirt in addition I really love this host. Which has not to my knowledge as a host the past 4 years ever changed in the summer. That’s because they can’t do that, everything you pay has to go through Airbnb and what your host is doing is a bait and switch which is illegal in most countries. It really doesn’t matter whether their fees did or didn’t go up, it’s not an option to have you pay extra and is very inappropriate. Please report them to air BNB. This kind of shit is why Airbnb is essentially dead The deal is done. Tell them if Airbnb is trying to change their arrangement (they are not) that’s not within your control and they should call them. How are you okay giving someone 100 bucks in cash on top of your formal agreement? Of course this is a scam. Do NOT cancel. and do not give this guy cash in hand. Scammy. Politely decline. Keep all communications on the platform. Screen shot it all. Contact AirBNB customer support and send screenshots. Suggest you make a backup plan, and expect them to be spiteful and look to ding you for anything they can and most likely leave you bad reviews. Nevermind that if YOU cancel, you fall under whatever refund policy they have… you might not get refunded and still need a new and more expensive booking and the fact that you cancelled is a black mark against you….
