But you know, it’s really none of my business so I never say anything, but you asked my thoughts so here they are. We all judge other people’s appearances, but we don’t have to do or say anything about it. Honestly, I see tattoos as a sign of low birth. I know some good folks with tattoos, but my first impression is that they are not too far from trailer trash. They probably know some good spots to chill out without anyone judging. Probably have a few cool friends with gripping and exciting stories to tell. Most likely wouldn’t judge me for mistakes I made in the Reynolds Sister Purdue cartoon shirt But I will love this past. Definitely can withstand some amount of pain. Can you get one? Sure. You could also pierce your genitals too, but that doesn’t mean it’s something normal. But that’s what I think of it.

I think, oh here is someone who follows whatever is popular at the Reynolds Sister Purdue cartoon shirt But I will love this moment, no matter the consequence. It gives me, honestly, a bad impression. Time and place, depends where I’m at. Majority of the time, absolutely no thought crosses my mind. Maybe “Oh, those are nice” or “Oh, those are ugly” but most of the time nothing at all. After the initial registration of “that person has tattoos”, it’s usually wondering if any of them are particularly cool. Pretty much no thoughts as it’s so common now it’s lost its edge to me. I have no tattoos but my GF is covered in them. I would love her with or without them. They totally suit her and her style and sensibilities(retro goth rockabilly) My initial non-thinking reaction is almost nothing. The presence of someone “covered in tattoos” doesn’t really register any more or less than what color shirt or what kind of shoes someone is wearing. Which is to say; I don’t really notice or care. But I wanted to challenge my own thinking. This sounds like a ‘good’ opinion that makes me look good, but is it true? What about my unconscious bias? So I thought more about it. Now, if I’m consciously thinking about the person being covered in tattoos, I think the tattoos become a judgement multiplier. So, if the person is wearing dirty, ragged jeans, big black stompy boots, a ratty t-shirt and unkept hair; I’m likely to assume the person is lower income or somewhat trashy. And I’m not talking about having a grunge or metal look or style. I’m talking about someone who looks like they’re taking a break from their Express Oil Change apprenticing oil filter grabber job. Potentially honorable person, but very likely at a somewhat low socioeconomic level. They probably make poor decisions because they’re wasting money on tattoos when they likely have more important issues they should be addressing.
