Airbnb does act like they are right forevermore and if you disagree they will remove you from their platform. Airbnb terms of service have an arbitration clause to prevent endless lawsuits. Are you a guest or host and what are you trying to do? I’m both, a guest and a host but for this particular matter, the Retro Billy Strings American guitarist Vintage T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this issue I’m dealing with is a washer malfunction that was used by the guest and it flooded the place. It was clearly an issue with maintenance of the washer but the host is trying to get money from the guest to replace the floors. It’s obviously a washer problem and it was used inconsistently or anything of the such. Trying to get airbnb to see the logic that just because a washer malfunctioned when a guest was there, it doesn’t mean it’s the guests fault but they seem dimwitted and found for the host. Appeal is possible but there isn’t much else to be said, it’s just a poor application of reasoning by airbnb. Don’t care about being kicked off the platform, it’s the reporting to a collection agency that could negatively affect credit, loans, etc. That’s the problem.

If the Retro Billy Strings American guitarist Vintage T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this washing machine flooded during the guests stay, I would also charge the guest. Airbnb is the one who pays for it, rarely does a guest pay any damage claims and even if Airbnb says you are liable, the guest would refuse to pay. Just remove your billing data from Airbnb and close down your account. Open up a new one later. Airbnb does not report to any credit agency, and even if they did, you could dispute it and have that removed from your credit report. Debt needs to be certain, like you borrowed money, otherwise it would need to go through the courts. You cannot just make up debt and add to someone’s credit report. Never heard of any company doing that, have you? By what theory should the guest be liable? If the house exploded because there was a gas leak in the furnace, is the guest liable too? What about a lightning strike? That’s not how liability works. In theory, it’s fraud, and insurance fraud if submitted to the insurance, if the host is liable because they didn’t maintain the washing machine and then tried to “pawn it off” onto a guest.
