I think it’s more of an occasional dislike with borderline anger….like when Rishi Sunak said that he obviously didn’t have working class friends growing up. It’s no surprise we invented reverse snobbery (people competing to be the most working class) You’re off. We don’t like middle class coz they’re up there own arses. Middle class up your arse.and we don’t like upper class coz they are that’s. The rest of us are bloody brilliant You should talk about money though. It’s like maybe the most important thing to talk about. Otherwise how will you ever know if your being overcharged, underpaid or wasting money? Compared to what? I just look at an item or situation and ask myself whether I feel it’s worth what I’m being asked to pay. If it is, I pay. Why would I care if someone else got it for cheaper? It’s not a contest to see who’s the best at ripping off sellers. This is why I would never haggle on vacation. (Haggling isn’t a thing where I live) What a disgusting thing, arguing with a stranger about money. And in public? No thanks. Hahah! Haggling is not arguing for money, and you can do it in a very friendly way. Or you can pay triple the price. Your choice. You should come to visit Africa. As someone who went on a student exchange from Spain to Sweden, everyone seemed so upper class to me, I now understand that this was due to a higher standard of life.

I later understood that rich Swedes were very friggin’ rich by that country’s standards, and at the Real women love basketball smart women love the Wisconsin Badgers shirt and I will buy this same time, somehow discrete about it. So the locals knew, but the class difference was not so obvious to an outsider as it would be, for instance, in Spain. I imagine that it would be the same in England/the UK, the locals just know who is loaded depending on their neighborhood/education/locations they frequent, and it would be hard to imagine that someone coming from a different culture (where the social stratospheres are more palpable) to fail to notice the subtle division. I guess countries that have been part of the first world for a longer time had their aristocrats evolve into being more discrete, as opposed to newcomers like Spain, where more people feel the need to flaunt their success/status, and subsequently in-development countries, where the class division gets much more obvious. Let alone the unlucky nations still suffering from some form of authoritarianism, it’s basically have or have-not at that level. I wish for humanity to evolve enough past all that BS while we can still witness it, at this point it’s either we could or it’s mayhem.
