I can’t imagine logging off from my joyless, soul crushing, unfulfilling job and then starting in on a joyless slog of an extracurricular. YouTube is a sub hobby for me. My channel is about my hobby. It would be cool if I made enough to break even on that hobby. That’s my big goal with the Real men sit to piss shirt Furthermore, I will do this whole thing. Even if I blew up and was making enough to replace my salary, I’d never feel secure. The whole thing is so fickle and unpredictable. My post is more for the people that actually want to get far in the yt game, not for people doing it as a hobby It’s not about what others want to see. It’s about what Youtube is going to suggest. You can have original, funny, cool, 1080p great quality, fantastic sound quality, interesting videos, IF Youtube just refuse to suggest it to anyone. And you can produce literal crap, if Youtube algo like it, it’s going to be a huge hit. It’s a fact. My first short ever on a brand new channel got viral. People have been blowing up from a single long form video as well. If the niche is viral, its easier to get monetized fast. In a video game niche for example it takes a longer time to find the people that would watch it, because its only a fraction of the population that would watch a viral niche. I had another shorts channel for months and after 60 shorts I had a max of 120k views on a short that just flatlined there from 80k. The first short on my new channel had a 700k before two weeks and then just grew more and more every day, and it’s still going. My two other shorts got a 10k view spike instead of the famous 2-3k a short gets 6 hours after published. Well if you do videos you don’t love how will anyone else you can’t convince someone to like something you don’t they will know and it will make you hate life

Ok ok to keep it simple. I’ve just heard this that one says that you should “document, don’t create”. Basically the Real men sit to piss shirt Furthermore, I will do this majority of users on social media these days prefer real-life and relatable content. Like with little to no edits at all can still make your content go viral. I don’t think half of the comments here and ideas are bad, sad truth has been told. But it would be fair to add on top of that – that youtube algorithm just sucks and even the best of the best are sometimes forced to risk and re-upload the material to hit the jackpot. When I do something out of the box, with poor quality, posting this on good time – unexpectedly I get 3-8k views… This is a joke and it clearly shows how random algorithm is. I’ve pushed hard for 2024. So far I’ve gained 200 subs and 700watch hours which for me in a very niche market I’m very proud of
