Good god the Pnb rock trending shirt and by the same token and comments here are stupid. First, nearly all of you attacking people who say “I’m socially liberal but fiscally conservative” should be happy that you’ve just engaged with someone who is, right out of the gate, expressing openness to other points of views. They may also simply be implying that they are skeptical of how the government spends their tax dollars. They have not just said “kill homeless people”. Anyone jumping to that conclusion is an ass-clown. Oh, and just to point out. It was recently noted in the San Francisco Chronicle that the city has spent over $1 BILLION dollars since 2016 to end homelessness and at the same time the homeless population has increased by 50%. If you aren’t upset with your government squandering tax dollars, you are part of the problem.

I think fiscal conservatism is fine in the Pnb rock trending shirt and by the same token and European fashion. Over here in Europe, almost all governments are very stingy with the public purse, especially more left leaning states like Finland and Denmark. Their economies run on very little government spending, because(and I agree with this) creating a strong foundation for a healthy economy that runs itself is better than one that’s addicted to constant government intervention by means of spending. This takes away funding from programs that are more important and gave greater benefits relative to costs(free education, healthcare, pension system etc) and raises the tax burdens on individuals, taking money out of the economy that could’ve been spent from the bottom-up.
