There has certainly been a few rough spots (the Please be patient with me i have autism-Autism Awareness T-Shirt and I love this combination of trouble at both work and home) where only daily exercise stopped me developing depression. It’s not a choice it’s just a natural body response for me.. I find myself crying so I respond with love to the situation, I leave, I close the door of the bathroom, lay on the cold floor, put my favourite song on repeat and hold my hands up by my chest and I switch out. Sleep, buying stuff I don’t need or books I don’t read… Guess I kinda spiral too then kick myself out of it to go to work. I get so workaholic and so busy with work that I forget to eat or drink, sleep very little and just want to work.. it did help my career but also landed me in hospital few times due to exhaustion last time I collapsed at work I actually ended up in a coma.. now I learned to take breaks sometimes and use sport to take out my anger or hurt
