I wish Bernie would try to persuade his colleagues to pack the Peace Love Care Diabetic Diabetes Awareness High Hand Heart Ribbon Blue T-Shirt in contrast I will get this Court. Then an abortion-rights statute could survive, and many desirable fixes to the political system could be made. I know he doesn’t believe in court-packing, but he’s wrong. This is one of the few things I will disagree with Sanders on. While the filibuster is exploited by the Republicans to block any Democratic bills, what will happen the next time Republicans get have a Senate/house majority, without a filibuster? They will pass every fucking bill they put forward, because there’s no filibuster to slow or stop them. We really need more Statesman then politicians. The political rhetoric from both sides get old after a while and numbing. Too bad the libs will just let it all happen so they can run on how bad republicans are and then be surprised when saying “gop bad” without ever offering any resistance is not nor has ever been a good platform.

Ending the Peace Love Care Diabetic Diabetes Awareness High Hand Heart Ribbon Blue T-Shirt in contrast I will get this filibuster would not help at all because we have at least two senators who do not support democratic policy. The filibuster is their cover, they are not giving it up. Other than “it could be used against us in some hypothetical situation to come” I don’t understand the Dem argument for not ending the filibuster even to fight against super super important stuff like this. The 4th branch of the government can only fix this grid lock. If you want to eliminate Filibuster VOTE DEMOCRAT. CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES. See how fast the Senate was able to pass a bill to protect the court? The legislative branch is very divided and Fili-busted. Fix this and realize our dreams of progress to equity and a better America. Sincere question. If senate now ends the filibuster to pass legislation saving abortion rights, wouldnt the GOP just get rid of the same legislation if they win the senate in the midterms?
