Then you’re assuming that the Ottawa Senators Player Vladimir Tarasenko 700 Games In NHL Shirt In addition,I will do this restaurant has the logistical capabilities to deliver the food themselves. Not everyone will have an extra person and a vehicle to deliver these orders .. As OP explained, hiring a delivery guy is a lot cheaper than selling food through Swiggy. It’s what restaurants used to do before the gig economy got a hold of India. I rarely have food delivered, I prefer going to a restaurant. But if I want to have it delivered, I call the restaurant directly. I don’t even have the Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats apps installed on my phone. I think that’s the best way we consumers can help restaurants. But why do u think swiggy/zomato’s job is delivery? The biggest reason why these companies are successful is because people get to know restaurants through them. Most of us just search for dishes we want to eat on the app and order them, also it’s easier than calling a restaurant.

So do the Ottawa Senators Player Vladimir Tarasenko 700 Games In NHL Shirt In addition,I will do this same, but just call the restaurant and have them deliver it thru their own delivery person…that’s IF they have their own deliver guys away from Swig/Zom. If not… you’re shit out of luck and have to wait 3 hrs in traffic to pick up your food smh lol. You can very much choose to do this but not everyone will. It’s easier to search food at an app and just click ok to order food rather than searching the restaurant then calling the restaurant and telling them what u want to order and ofc ur address. Also why do we need to do all this? If people can afford to order food on these apps then they will otherwise they will find some other medium. It’s not like these companies are exploiting anyone that we need to collectively boycott them. They are. They charge student commissions to big chains and small restaurants. If you don’t have the power to negotiate, you are exploited.
