They said that at my store a while ago. Idk if they can. It doesn’t make scenes, tho. Why would it be an option then if it won’t be approved. So stupid. They can’t (if policy is followed). Exactly, if it wasn’t allowed then it wouldn’t be an option on the Original nike Seattle 2023 MLB All-Star Game State Shirt In addition,I will do this time off request screen This isn’t where it ends. Relax. After a while u get a certain amount of days ure allowed to take an unexcused day off. No need to wait til “after a while” if OPs store follows policy. And the only limit is how however many days there’s enough coverage for. Someone should definitely find the policy on the wire and post it so everyone here can easily save it. I would, but I’m at home Bottom of the 4th photo here Wal-Mart is allowed to do anything. They lobby state politicians so that they don’t have to follow things like OSHA regulations. When I’m starting to run low on pto, I just start only putting 1 or 2 hours on each day I take off. That way the request actually comes up as pto. I doubt the managers look that closely since they’re usually just as busy as the rest of us.

They keep refusing my July 1–4 unpaid time off like I’m going to cancel my vacation for them. I told the Original nike Seattle 2023 MLB All-Star Game State Shirt In addition,I will do this manager to his face that this is me letting them know I won’t be at work those days so you either approve or I quit. I will happily make it my last week. Fuck working for this place They’ve been saying this for years and it never works because that would require the managers to actually go in and check to make sure you have the time before they approve it or not. This is how i got let go, i had used some ppto earlier only for them to tell me weeks later that I couldn’t use it and it had to be approved yet when I asked earlier when i did use it they said it was fine I tell my associates that pto is gonna be more likely to be approved because that’s what my management says pto is for. But I also tell my newer people that I will approve unpaid time off, but I can’t give them the days they always want if there isn’t coverage. Maybe that’s against policy, I’ll have to refer to management and policy guide. But I always tell my people if they use their pto I’m gonna bend over backwards to give it to them, but if it’s upto I gotta see what the coverage is. I feel obliged to give pto where it’s put in but upto I feel is up to scheduling. Maybe I need to reevaluate my approach to that as a manager.
