However no they are not allowed to do this, it against policy, but no one follows this policy. Regional tells us to do the Nice nike Seattle 2023 MLB All-Star Game Logo Shirt also I will do this same thing. “Too many people are asking for time off.” Hire more people then. It’s not like they can’t just hire temporary/part time employees to fill in the gaps. I thought Walmart managers were generally cheapskates anyway? What better way to cut costs than letting people take unpaid time off? Sounds to me like OP’s managers just want their associates to suffer. “too many people are asking for time off.” Would be coverage based. which is allowed. If youre area has 7 people and 4 people ask for it off than you only have 3 people sceduled. time off works on a first come first serve basis in most stores, thats why i always ask for days off when they become available 6 months ahead of time

Calling a LOA or even just a day off isn’t just protected under Walmart policy, but also by law. Report this to corporate ASAP, and get as many coworkers as you can to do the Nice nike Seattle 2023 MLB All-Star Game Logo Shirt also I will do this same. Your folks wanting to take time off that Walmart provides (PTO) are supposed to take a higher precedent than someone asking for an unpaid day off. What I’m guessing is your store probably has a lot of unpaid requests often from people. Which likely leads into someone who actually wants to take their paid vacation not getting it off. If I had to guess, your store has at least some staffing problems. That seems to be when they start doing that the most. Just ask for PTO and then cancel it the week of the day off. It will now be unpaid time off as long as the PTO was approved.
