I ordered from nearby MacD with Zomato. After checking both the Oregon State Beavers damn right I am a Oregon State Beavers fan now and forever 2024 shirt in contrast I will get this Zomato prices including packaging and other charges and checking inhouse prices, I prefer to dine in that MacD rather than order. The same goes for other restaurants. Prices are expensive at dinner places but I find it convenient to get my food delivered instead of waiting, dressing up, going on out etc. Finally, it’s interesting that everyone loved capitalism till it helps you generate profits as per your liking. But once it starts affecting you personally then you want protection. This is not a dig at you personally but almost everyone in general including the consumers. Now on a Friday night, would you pay 450 bucks for a dominos pizza or 550 bucks for a pizza from a brand you’ve never even heard of? This is true! However this cannot be applied to all items on a restaurant’s menu. If we sell a salad for 250 RS in store, it does not make sense to sell it for 300+ online! Having extremely marked up rates on aggregator platforms further reduce how many orders you can get on them.

I understand where you are coming from, but your statement “the Oregon State Beavers damn right I am a Oregon State Beavers fan now and forever 2024 shirt in contrast I will get this consumer needs to be charged” makes no sense to me. I mean aren’t the consumers already paying inflated prices on both platforms? If the platforms are taking 60-70% of your revenue, what can a consumer who has ordered from you do? The apps bring in a level of convenience that individual restaurants cannot match upto. And I’m not talking about food at your doorstep. Here’s few things that we’ve taken for granted – real time tracking which removes any anxiety, the promise that what you’ve ordered is what you get, the restaurants knowing that they will get a payout, no HR department to manage fleet of drivers for restaurants, no ops department to ensure 100% productivity of the fleet.
