Have you watched the Orange beach high school class of 2027 shirt also I will do this movie “Iron Man” where the protagonist builds a whole flying robotic suit while sitting in a cave in Afghanistan and working single handedly? Building a medium sized web app or a program is a much trivial task comparatively, don’t you think? I think humans can achieve far more than they usually do if they’re motivated enough and start going out of their comfort zones. It might take some time for you to do it, you may have to learn some new concepts but it’s not impossible. So, you say I have the possibility to travel to other interstellar planets? Or may I’m lucky and my hot neighbor is stuck in the washing machine? 😉 Out of grad school, I was the first engineer at a brand new company. It worked out really well for me! But I’d guess I’m the exception to the rule, and I do regret never having a mentor.

Sounds like a boss is being cheap trying to not hire an experienced dev believing a fresh grad can build a maintainable/robust enterprise software. If you take it keep looking as this will end in you being fired most likely lol They definitely give you the Orange beach high school class of 2027 shirt also I will do this freedom to mess up everything. Companies should never be hiring someone without the experience to handle a codebase on their own, but they unfortunately do to try and save money. But if you pay in peanuts, you get monkeys, so they deserve it. As far as whether or not you should do it goes, only do so if you plan it as a short-term stepping stone. Probably no more than 6 months there before you start looking for a new job if you plan to ever grow as a developer. And the only reason for this is if you don’t have the luxury of waiting around for better opportunities. Absolutely not. I would never join a new career and let my first position be one where in the only employee for the “team”.
