Also, Mrs has just bought a car with an eleccy handbrake. Lord it’s a pain in the Official shadow of Intent Zurvan shirt it is in the first place but ass, don’t see what was wrong with a manual one. I was thinking about this just the other day! I always push the button in when I pull the handbrake up, but then saw a YouTube video where the mechanic just pulled the handbrake up without pushing the button. I suddenly realised that I could have been wrong all these years, so I did a few practice pulls without engaging the button, but I didn’t like the noise the handbrake made, so I’ve gone back to being a pusher. I always push the button! Feels so unnatural otherwise, though I obviously know that I don’t technically need to You don’t slowly cruise downhill using the handbrake without pressing the button. That should be the natural state.

I know I’m fairly new to driving so I’m now wondering what other kinds of hand-breaks there are! I always press the Official shadow of Intent Zurvan shirt it is in the first place but button, horrid grinding noise if I don’t. Actually using my handbreak as my main breaks rn cause my one breakpad has gone iffy (it’s a workout I tell you, I might go drifting a bit that seems like a fun activity :p) Delaying getting that pad sorted cause my last two trips to mechanics got me well ripped off (I’m a blonde short chickie, nothing I can do about that but I don’t have a third of my car value to spend when they swap out a working part of my engine for a fuct one…a-fucking-gain) I ALWAYS push the button in. Hate that sound it makes. It just doesn’t sound normal. Like gears grinding. My wife doesn’t though. I always comment “that poor hand brake” whenever I’m in her car. Edit. Actually thinking about it I think I push the button in half way so I can feel the notches but not annoyingly noisy
