100% agree on the Official anime biggest problem capitali$m shirt in other words I will buy this yellow foundation. I never understand why a cool toned MUA will film a makeup routine and immediately put on a super warm toned foundation. I mean, as someone who is cool toned, I know most foundations aren’t, but find a shade that actually matches your skin or it’s going to look off. And if an MUA is doing someone’s makeup, shouldn’t they know how to make something too warm more cool or neutral? I mean they sell blue foundation mixer. It’s not a secret and it should be a technique a Pro should know. Also, isn’t it a good thing to tell someone hey, just wanted to let you know your foundation is too warm for you? That’s why people post pics and ask for advice, no? I’m in my 30’s. I should understand this by now. I’ve been matched at Ulta and Sephora lots of times, too. But usually my face ends up looking so much darker than my neck, it looks awful. I’ve been there. I started matching my foundation to my neck and then using mixers to get to get the shade just right. It took quite a bit of trial and error. I got matched back when I was 23 and I got the yellow foundation treatment even though I’m neutral/cool-ish and it was 2 shades too dark for me

This undertone thing annoys me too.. here in the Official anime biggest problem capitali$m shirt in other words I will buy this UK there is a make up artist called Sali Hughes and I read something where she was advising everyone to wear golden undertone foundation because it’s a lot more flattering. Fine if you’re wearing a turtleneck but otherwise like you say it makes your face look a funny colour compared to the rest of you! (If done when you’re pink toned) I hate the overlined lip trend, rather than making your lips look larger it generally looks like you need a trip back to kindergarten to practice coloring inside the lines. That’s pretty accurate. When i was a teacher and I noticed, specifically in kindergarten, when kids get sick, they’d get this red ring around their mouths. In spanish, it’s called fuego (fire). It’s a rash/irritation/inflammation and every time I see overlined lips, that’s what comes to mind. Absolutely! And for some odd reason, every hates their cupids bow now? Like the cupids bow is so gorgeous and now you look like a clown. It’s so bad in person (and in not heavily manipulated photos).
