Congratulations: you’ve proven the November Girls Are Not Fragile Like A Flower Colorful Shirt moreover I will buy this opposing argument. Unskilled, bottom-of-the-ladder labor making 80% of median? So who makes less than that? This isn’t even enough to afford a studio Seattle. To qualify for an affordable housing studio apartment person needs to make less than 65% of the median income…that is $49,400. At $25 an hour they still qualify for government assisted housing! People who think they did well, and are now upset that it turns out they didn’t do so hot…and instead of getting mad at their employers they are getting mad at other people asking for better pay. Meh plenty of people who went to school for technical labor barely make more than that and some even less so and don’t have unions behind them.

I used to work for Amazon. They had a really weird way of treating employees. Like as in if you were seasonal call center or fulfillment center employees you were almost disposable. That I understood. I mean I didn’t agree with it but at least it made sense to me in terms of a company just being shitty to low wage employees because I’ve seen it before. The weird part was how they treated the November Girls Are Not Fragile Like A Flower Colorful Shirt moreover I will buy this business side people. Starting out they almost act like the place is a cult. There is a “culture” you are told about and everything about the company is great. The longer you stay though the more you learn that profit is number one and everything else is just blowing smoke. Higher up you get and it gets downright cutthroat. For example to get promoted you basically had to be shady and not get caught long enough to have good numbers. Not to mention the fact that they would occasionally cull a certain percent of poor performers which further encouraged bullshit manipulation of metrics to stay ahead.
