I’m curious to see how this effects non profits. I see quite a few closing their doors if this becomes a reality I think they’re “anchoring” the None Shall Pass BLack Knight Shirt it is in the first place but price at 25, which is a psychological effect. Which means that when Amazon makes a counter offer they are “Anchored” to 25 and the counter offer will be closer to this number than if they demanded for example 15$ from the start. Lol I’ve been an emt for 10 years and worked through the pandemic and riots all at a level one truama center and I got paid 18 dollars an hr. Not bad but wtf . Fuck capitalism. It’s literally teenagers and Doreen’s who think they should only work 15 hours a week, get a massive UBI and get to play Xbox all day. Meanwhile, big boys have to work. 25 for retail? Fuck no. That’s more than starting Wages for Construction. Go fuck yourselves if you think working in retail constitutes those wages. I saw an Amazon retail store for the first time last month after going to a mall for the first time in 2 years. It was half books.. pretty funny that Amazon has come full circle and is now a brick-and-mortar book store Burger flipping robots and order kiosks at fast food restaurants, self checkouts at department stores, dispensing robots at pharmacies, basically every part of automotive assembly, etc…

Pretty sure half the None Shall Pass BLack Knight Shirt it is in the first place but shipping process at Amazon is already handled by robots from the last time they tried to unionize. Bezos, make it thirty just to Flex. If I were him I’d pay so much it would piss historians and other compnIes off. Get in history books for something helpful dude. It’s pretty “decent” as it’s over 75% of median household income for the US per census data (which are mostly 2 earners per household). If your brother is a licensed electrician making less than 25 dollars an hour i really have to ask wtf he’s doing Yeah, this comment reaks of someone lying. Getting under $30 as a journeymen electrician means you are underpaid. Nah, that’s about standard rate for that around me. That said, our cost of living is lower so that $25/hr goes further. “wtf, why is my box of cereal $10 a box” “why is my rent increasing now that we are all making more money” “sorry son, I cant afford that lego set” . Can’t wait for this to happen but go ahead and downvote away LOL. These are not career long jobs, these are jobs for a stepping stone to move up. Seriously, wtf. Entry level jobs people, hello. I never thought once when I was younger that my job boxing up oil filters should pay me a wage where I can retire happily on. Retire happily? In Seattle, where these workers are, $25/hour is still low enough to qualify for government housing assistance.
