So long story short, I refused to allow these kids to kill a bunny & eat it, and now my dad hates me for embarrassing him in front of his church group & I’m no longer welcome to participate in my childhood boy scout troop. At 11, I could have killed a bunny and eaten it, but again, I grew up with there are pets and there are meat animals, and while Bambi is cut in videos, if you want to eat meat all winter, someone is going to have to go out hunting. I suspect that in this case, the Nobody is perfect but if you are Lady Gaga pretty damn close shirt in other words I will buy this 11 year olds would not have been fine with doing so, and in if that case you were the hero they needed. The guy who won the the goat in auction accepted the girls wishes and was sending it to a work farm where the goats job would be to eat weeds. There was a hold in place where the animal was not allowed to be harmed until court settled. The county officials went against the new owners wishes and ignored the courts stay and sent police 8 hours away to get the goat and then had it butchered. They don’t know where the meat went. I bet the county officials ate it while gloating and thinking about punishing the little girl for empathy aka being woke, and the winning owner for their empathy as well.

This isn’t a case of a hurt person lashing out – this took effort. They had to go out of their way to hurt this child. I have two out of 3 abusive parents, 4 out of 6 alcoholic and abusive grandparents, and yet I am doing my best to acknowledge my parenting mistakes and make sure they are ones I can live with. The person who bought the goat would have been fine with eating the cost and giving it back to the girl. They ignored what the current actual owner of the goat wanted so they could make her cry. From what I’ve gathered, the issue is that the mom stole the goat. Yes, she did reach out to the auction and the fair people and offer to pay up for the goat, but willing to pay for the thing she stole does not negate stealing it. From the sounds of it, it’s also not quite clear who owned the goat from the legal standpoint (auction winner bid for the goat meat, the fair owned the goat). The cops were just supposed to seize the goat until the ownership of the goat could be clarified in a civil suit. So, I don’t disagree, but just know that most of those type of competition farm animals generally do get auctioned off and slaughtered. I agree that it’s weird in this situation, but most times you do that to eventually sell and slaughter the animal. You’re suppose to teach them about the process of your food. Again, not agreeing, just trying to help people understand the whole ordeal involved.
