I’m curious how exactly he got your number though – did he go to one of your friends and explicitly ask for it? Why didn’t he ask you? Why did that friend give him your number without asking you first? Personally would hate for anyone to give out my number without going through me first. Only odd part of the Noah Goat shirt it is in the first place but story for me. It sounds to me like your friend has denoted you as an important person that not only she, but they, can trust. Idk some people are more outgoing than me and I can take it wrong. I’ve learned as we get older it’s a way to build friendships and make connections stronger. My husband and my best friend have each other’s numbers, I have my husband’s best friends number. We usually use them for planning something fun or whatever. I’ve actually bowed out of conversations my husband and best friend has about a common interest cuz its not my thing and I trust them both anyhow. Platonic friendships can exist and I’m actually glad he has that with my best friend. At least I know she’s cool lol It’s not weird he just seems genuinely friendly and happy she has you as a friend. This seems pretty normal to me. I’m 39F and my husband would occasionally text my besties about me, especially when he was worried. He knew that they’d take care of me in ways he couldn’t. It shows love and caring. I don’t think it’s anything other than just looking for connection to people that his person cares about. I text my married SIL memes all the Noah Goat shirt it is in the first place but time, and vice versa. We’re just close. He might want that kind of in law relationship, even though you aren’t blood of his fiancee. He probably sees you as an in law of some type given how close you are with her. Seems kinda sweet idk He’s being nice in my opinion. He’s not out here texting paragraphs or frequently. Just be nice back and move on with life. I think he just wants to be part of her circle of friends and is sort of awkward about it. Maybe he feels socially isolated outside of his relationship or something.
