Wrong type of feelings, sorry for not conveying that better. If you feel something is wrong based on, well, feelings and reality is something different and it can be proved, then why wouldn’t you want to know? What happened is more telling than this wife begrudgingly agreeing to intimacy. In my case once I stopped pursuing(and getting rejected) is that all sex stopped. She didn’t initiate intimacy once. Since relationships tend to follow patterns, I’m guessing if this wife was this reluctant when being propositioned, there is zero chance she was initiating on those times when it occured.

That’s pretty much exactly how my long term relationship went and ended. It is so hard to describe to people who haven’t been there. It can be extra hard because there’s rarely a moment, a thing that happened; it’s just one day you realize it’s been this way for a while and you gave up a long time ago.
