Bonus: getting a notification from USPS that your package has arrived, as in my mailbox, but I don’t actually get it until 24 hours later Just remembered another… ordered from a company on the Nice dragon Ball Erling Haaland Rocked The Premier League With Manchester City For The Inspiration RIP Akira Toriyama Shirt Besides,I will do this other coast of Florida. freak storm fucked up everything and the package sat in a warehouse god knows where for weeks. got notification it was delivered, saw nothing for 3 days. Reported to company, they sent out another, got the new package a day after the old one showed up The USPS has a package sorting facility with amazing technology. Same site where they develop the radar systems for military aircraft. Funny how sometimes shit just doesn’t work as intended My USPS mail carrier and informed delivery has always been spot on. He scans the package when he puts it in my mailbox. He’s also friendly and we chat sometimes.

Having a good mail carrier is clutch. I’ve had awesome ones and I’ve had terrible ones who lose (pocket?) packages and mark them as delivered. Once someone finally got in touch with a real person, we were basically told that there was a small fire at the package sorting facility and our package was one of the ones lost… But that they weren’t supposed to actually tell anyone and they were just hoping people would think it was an issue with the seller or something and not bother asking them. We ended up taking the hit and just reordering everything again. It’s mostly been amazon packages for me. And they don’t arrive in the post office until later in the morning. I’m guessing the contractual obligations they’re under require the packages to be delivered by a certain day. So if they aren’t going to make it, they just mark it delivered while it still sits in the post office.
