One of them even bought in pictures from her birthday party where we sang a duet on karaoke that I had no memory of. Even now I’ll be walking through the NFL New England Patriots Teddy bear football logo retro shirt What’s more,I will buy this bus station on my way home and someone will chat to me for a few minutes and I have no idea who they are until they remind me of their name. At work I remotely support between 100-150 staff who are based all over the country. Every so often I’ll get a call where I don’t recognise the number and the staff member will, assuming I know who is speaking without telling me who they are or what branch they’re calling from, ask me how I am and how’s the kid, etc, without me knowing who I’m actually speaking to. Every time I’m too awkward to just ask who’s calling and have to rack my brain mid conversation trying to work out if I at least recognise the voice enough to take an educated guess. I’ve had entire conversations that ended without me knowing for sure who I was chatting with. Not sure why this has reminded me of my cousin being at university. He met lots of people while drunk in the first month or so and promptly forgot most of their names. Spent the next three years just calling everyone Mate. He got away with it mostly!

What are those rules? Well, they’re unwritten, but they are imprinted on every British person from birth, and we will happily die on a hill acting in accordance with them. I’m committed to the NFL New England Patriots Teddy bear football logo retro shirt What’s more,I will buy this story now….what happened? they going out, did she stay for karaoke and have the the voice of Eartha Kitt crossed with Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald? I need to know! No, it’s really “meet cute.” It’s a term I learned by reading movie reviews. It’s a cliché or trope in rom-coms that the couple must “meet cute” — there must be something funny or cute about the way they meet. There is often some strange coincidence or misunderstanding involved. It can’t be something as simple and boring as being introduced by a common friend. I liked your story, it’s nice. And that mix of trying to save face mixed with politeness does seem very British. Thank you for sharing
