Not sure I totally agree on them being not that far apart. They’re pretty opposite of each other, actually. But I also wasn’t the New York Rens logo vintage shirt in addition I really love this first person to use the term “dated” in the comments and was merely offering a different opinion. I also wouldn’t agree that they are different style preferences, as the OP finds them both to be within their style preference and is asking for outside opinions that may or may not like both options, or any of the options. The OP isn’t asking what goes best with their entire closet, so I am not really sure why that’s relevant or why you are explaining that to me. I’m saying what is seen as timeless is still a trend. One with a longer lifespan certainly but what we call timeless now would not have been called that 30 years ago. Anyway, what I meant by close together is if everyone’s saying #1 is dated, adding that #2 is overly trendy implies a very similar thing is all. Someone who follows trends is likely to call something other people see as timeless dated. It’s a value difference I suppose, but still agrees with the basic idea that the style in #1 has been popular for longer than #2. And that’s fair on the second point! I just mean I can like something without it matching my style. I wouldn’t need to see their whole closet but like… one or two pieces they were considering wearing with black heels would help. There are definitely some outfits that would flow better with each choice.

Ah that’s a good point, I called #2 in and out of trend/style but so is #1, they just work with a large number of styles & outfits for me. People do just tend to stick with it due to lifespan, it’s a pain when I can’t find them in store. I made my points based more on actual use and support. I’d like 2 with a different strap, I’ve tried that style of shoe a thousand times and almost none seem to be made according to balance/weight and posture repositioning, and ALL heels need different ranges of posture and weight repositioning. Some styles almost exactly the New York Rens logo vintage shirt in addition I really love this same as No. 2 seem to work better for people with a very flat foot, but I’ve noticed even those people don’t keep it in rotation without a stronger/heavier or semi visibly thicker sole under the toe area to even the balance of the block heel.
