If you call 911 in the Music Premium Tiger Army Shirt But I will love this US and start speaking practically any language they will immediately connect you to an interpreter. Its shocking that this isn’t standard in the developed world,. Don’t you have a smartphone? They all have easy access to a translation program where you speak it in one language and then it comes out in another language Assuming you have data, should be no problem, just pull up Google translate. That said it sounds like OP was doing that but wasn’t able to give them enough information. I’ve used google translate a ton while traveling. I don’t see how it would integrate seamlessly through a phone conversation. Which is why I asked. Dunno if this has been stated below in the comments, but for information purposes, ring 112 if you’re in Europe and witnessing or experiencing an emergency if you don’t know the local numbers or speak the language. Jez, what fucking idiots. Not even consideration for someone who can speak English? Is it THAT HARD To have an emergency translation hotline or something ready? People die because of that. Not gonna go there any time soon. Recently I was in France (the south) if that makes a difference, But I had to call an ambulance luckily nothing too serious although still very much needed within a reasonable time. It took me nearly 30 minutes to get an English speaking dispatcher on the phone and 35 minutes for an ambulance to arrive while the hospital was a 15 minute drive at most. It is incredible that in such a touristy place they can’t facilitate english speaking personnel. If it becomes something of significance, I’d feed your story to the news. I bet they would eat that up and maybe actually spur some change in the system.

Legit question for this situation in foreign countries… should I just call the Music Premium Tiger Army Shirt But I will love this US embassy for guaranteed English speaker that i assume could transfer calls. if local authorities turn me down like this. Or am I thinking too highly of an embassy’s capabilities? That’s the most Italian shit I’ve ever heard of. My friend Alberto grew up outside of Florence and he told me his conscripted service he chose was to work with hospitals, so they made him an ambulance driver. He said this one day he was just tired and hungover driving around alone and he wasn’t paying attention and drove it off of a small cliff. He was totally fine and climbed back up to the road and hitch hiked home. He said he was never called about the missing ambulance or his job. After a while he got bored and just moved to the United States and he’s still never been asked by anyone about where the ambulance went or what happened. We need to dramatically redirect resources, focus, and effort, to climate catastrophe management and prevention. Controlled burns fucking everywhere. Better systems for warning (looking at you Hawaii) etc.
