I was in graduate school for math and I overheard a group of professors talking about how bad their kids were at math. They were certainly capable of doing so. They looked at me like I was crazy. “That’s the school’s job, not mine.” My sister has a learning disability that makes reading analog really hard for her I guess, I’m not sure what it is, but she’s been diagnosed with something and the doc said it explained why she struggled to learn them..maybe your wife’s cousin is the same? Idk man…. she’s only 17 though so I also think the schools didn’t really spend time teaching the younger gen how to read them (I’m over a decade older than her and remember tests and quizzes on how to read analog)

I have autism and I can’t read clocks very well, no other diagnosed or diagnosable learning conditions (no dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia etc) so I’m not sure what the Motor Harley Davidson Clothes Bruce Dickinson Signature Shirt but in fact I love this problem is. I can do clock worksheets if i have enough time but I just can’t read them quickly. Even tried wearing a watch for over a decade and forcing myself to only use that to tell the time, but it hasn’t gotten any better. I still have to manually count the increments. It’s just one weird thing I suck at for no reason. I had a math professor who was the same, and I’m a physicist so it’s obviously not a lack of math skill Really? I’ve just turned 32 and I can read an analog clock no problem. So can everyone else my age that I know. I wonder where she went to school I’m 26 and we most definitely learned how analog clocks work. Do they really not teach it anymore? My daughter’s only 2 so she’s not there yet. I already plan on teaching her cursive since they stopped doing that, do I have to make sure to teach her about clocks too? Not complaining about it, I just can’t believe it wouldn’t be a part of curriculum anymore, analog clocks are still used in a lot of places
