I do not mean that there’s no skill involved in gaming or cooking, but there’s always going to be different levels of difficulty. It is literally a milestone for humanity. We have to accept it and integrate it into our day to day. Combating progress has never been good ever. I can guarantee you there were people unhappy about the industrial revolution, but those who accepted it thrived. There is a reason for why faces seem to work in thumbnails. Because we humans love connection with others, want to hear and listen to others, and see into the lives of others. AI lacks all of those and can only fill direct information. Even if everything seems real, if we know its AI, its just not it.

AI is going to screw up a lot of things. My final straw was when a food tester was let go from her job testing recipes for food blogs because AI was writing them now. The company that employed her told her why, and it was because “their audience was older house wives who didn’t plan on cooking them any ways” I’m a cook first, if I look up a recipe I expect to cook it. AI written news stories have begun to show up… and I doubt people are fact checking them… With the Morning I See The Assassins Have Failed Cat shirt besides I will buy this capabilities of voice matching, deep fakes, amazing cgi and now AI production I will no longer believe anything I see online, or at minimum be hyper critical of what I’m looking at. I always discredit AI videos and as soon as one starts playing (usually through shorts) I get off the app / site in an instant. They are extremely boring, almost always misinformed or fake and overall the “scripts” (if you can even call it that) written by the AI (this is a problem with all AIs btw) are so poorly written, that merely listening to any sentence of the “script” makes me lose brain cells. AI needs more supervision than a child in order for it to make something worthwhile.
