I’ve used Airbnb once, never again. Horrible experience. Didn’t have this problem but suffice to say it turned me off Airbnb really quick. Those cameras may have a backup battery. You unscrew one end and pull it out. It’s the Monster kisser shirt in other words I will buy this same battery a ring doorbell uses. Unplug that crap, unscrew the end cap, and pull the backup battery out. Also, report them to Airbnb. That’s just sick. I understand having them surrounding outside the property, but indoors and renting it out feels so invasive. “To protect my property the renters would counter”. My response would be “Do not rent out your personal property to strangers if you’re so concerned that you feel you need camera indoors to monitor them.” Its the most uncomfortable feeling to be knowingly watched by other strangers. I don’t know what the laws are where you are, but usually this needs to be stipulated because the property is being used as a rental, that could change things.

Make sure that isn’t a smart mirror. A local business where I live got in trouble for having one of those in their bathroom.
