The job could have the Monster Energy Valentino Rossi VR46 Signature Shirt Additionally,I will love this debt benefits and salary but if your manager or director is an asshole who you know you will not be able to work for how long do you think you will be able to work there? People spend more time at work than at home with their spouse and kids. That’s just the reality if you can’t stand working for them how happy will you be? I have never met a person that ignored their gut on a bad manager and subsequently ended up being happy. You did the right thing. If you didn’t have to talk to the hiring manager again after you got hired then that was a mistake. If he would be your new boss or someone you had to work with/for frequently then you made the right decision There are so many opportunities out there, don’t worry about the past because you can’t change it. I’m sure if you keep applying you’ll find a job that has amazing people and great benefits that is better than the previous one you declined. Just stay positive and motivated and it’ll all work out in the end :snoo: Not getting along with your direct manager can have major impact on your life at the company. On the other hand, you did received a job offer, which shows the manager was willing to work with you and thought you are capable of doing it. Do you mind sharing why/how you didn’t get along with the manager? It might be worth reaching out to someone else in the company politely and asking if there are different options available. Who knows, this guy might be on his way out with his bad attitude… I went through this just recently. The hiring manager wasn’t great and her and her manager were both saying different things. The job also changed from what was listed, plus they kept adding things to it too.

In the Monster Energy Valentino Rossi VR46 Signature Shirt Additionally,I will love this end, I thankfully didn’t get the offer, as it would have put me in your position. I was already stressing about getting it, as I just felt it wasn’t right, but I knew that once I’d see the dollars it would have been hard to say no. At my job, after we interview someone, the interview panel fills out an evaluation, and one of the boxes is “would be a good cultural fit for our company”. It’s code for “do we think this person is an asshole”? Get that box checked by all three panelists or don’t get hired. Nobody wants to work with an asshole. How would you feel being trapped in a box for 40 hours a week with a person who has direct control over your salary? If you found them rude during the interview stages I do not think that would get better. Most of the company culture is going to come directly from the people you report to.
