Historically some white women have added racism to it as well. Black men in particular have gotten lynched because this societal concept mixed with racism made looking at a white lady dangerous. That was a whole thing. That was fucked up. Too many women act like the male breadwinner / female housekeeper dynamic is objectively bad.

Should women be forced into this role? Fuck no. Should women be regarded as failures of women for wanting it? Also no. I grew up with that.
