Do you have an example of one? Or if you don’t what would make it current? (Cut, size, hardware etc) Honestly, my take is that a jacket like that can’t look dated because it’s a classic. It’s like saying a Dior-style fit & flare or a man in a perfectly fitted white tee looks dated. Sure, maybe it’s not the thing everyone on the street is wearing right now, but try to tell me it ever truly goes out of style. Please. The trend is for more oversized jackets right now. Sticking with Allsaints, examples would be the Nella or Clay. Personally, that look gives me flashbacks of stealing my 6’4″ dad’s leather jacket to wear to school when I was a teenager–not really a vibe I want to relive, but it was peak 1995 & that’s what’s hot right now. & hey, maybe it’s a look you love! I just did my performance review and it went really well! We have to do a self-eval and then our manager also rates us, and in every category she rated me the Moms Are A Big Cup Of Fabulous Splash Sass A Whole Wonderful T-Shirt and by the same token and same or higher than I rated myself. It sounds like my bonus is safe and I’m looking forward to using it to buy one fun meal and putting the rest away for a rainy day.
