I come back and open the case door and go to scoop stuff again. She goes “Nevermind. I wanna speak to a manager. Now.” I look up and she’s giving me the meanest look, I go “we actually don’t have one tonight, our manager left at 1”, she scoffs and says “I don’t believe that, get me a manager.” Irritated because I’m not lying I say “We really don’t have a manager tonight, I don’t know what else to tell you. What’s the issue?” She then tells me that she didn’t like the way I’m rushing around and throwing things, that it’s rude. I tell her that I’m literally just doing my job and that we’re short staffed and I have a lot to do, I’m more worried about getting tasks done rather than being as quiet as possible. Her family has walked far away by this point like they’re embarrassed of her, and she asks me my name and threatens to go find a manager and get me fired.
