Input lag and poorly done input queing. It’s not worth going through the entire game again just to do a few things you missed the first time. Don’t like to be invaded when I’m trying to co-op and explore the world with a friend. I want it to be our adventure, and not have that interrupted by an invader. All it takes is the change to opt in for invasions, whether alone or co-op, and if that qualification isn’t met, then you can’t be invaded. Having no quest log in a massive open world like this makes it virtually impossible to do a lot of them without guides. Especially when a bunch of progression is nothing more than “NPC moved to isolated location, talk to then 2 times, they then move to another location” Plus I don’t understand the whole gotta talk to them numerous times to progress the quest, why not just talk to them once and get everything. I missed heaps of quests because I didn’t talk to a particular person before progressing past a particular point in the game. Real small gripe to be honest but just my thoughts Now look I love exploring and finding things and my first playthrough was over 200 hours and I STILL MISSED COOL SHIT I thought I could 100% the game first playthrough but then I got pissed off that I couldn’t even get the legendary armament one becuase I lost bolt of gransax from lyndell before it turned to ash. There are so many small things in the game that are so easy to miss that then give you like a amazing ending or some shit. But that for me is all that I had a problem with tbh.

I wish multiplayer had been expanded for a better co-op experience. Other than that I honestly have no complaints. Great game. I wish this game was truly multiplayer where you don’t have to summon someone every 20 steps you take. There are a number of areas that felt shallow and incomplete and could have been cut to make a tighter and stronger game. I’ve played every Souls game and I like the model, but I’d like to see more NPCs and more sense of life and activity in any future open world games. So Many AOEs. It feels like every important boss has way to many attacks that deal AOE damage. My one complaint.
