I get to spend more time with my young family and be just as productive if not more .I’ve been out to lunches with my wife, play with my son ,have a picnic on a workday in my garden , attend his piano concert and much much more ..I’ve learned to live again.I’m not trading that for any amount of money.. I don’t disagree, but that’s only from a sartorial perspective. You can wear a suit and tie while working from home. The other side of this.. we hear constantly about how worker rights aren’t respected enough these days and how we need unions and the Mens 73th Birthday I’m Not Old I’m Classic, Funny Quote Car 1949 T-Shirt and I will buy this like. There’s people out here working in real shitty jobs in real shitty industries… yet we gotta read about upset Apple workers working for a dream company.

There actually aren’t. For tech employees, there’s about 10 openings per person looking for work that aren’t getting filled. Its impossibly hard to find qualified people especially in Software Dev, Cyber Security, and Network Operations. Lets not even talk about AI specialists or machine learning. I am so tired of these sensational headline articles. They’re just click baiting. They really *don’t seem to have concrete sources who wrote this, who it was given to. They don’t have any evidence who actually isn’t going in. To claim employees are “revolting” and you don’t know if it’s 2 low level dudes who dgaf or a significant portion of hard to replace talent. I’m definitely in the Mens 73th Birthday I’m Not Old I’m Classic, Funny Quote Car 1949 T-Shirt and I will buy this minority with the WFH mentality. I absolutely hate it. I can’t focus at home, I work later, and I loose the sense of interaction. Our QA department is entirely WFH now and it’s horrible. I work directly with them and instead of being able to walk down the hall to clarify something or explain a piece of data, I have to email, call or Zoom. You loose the ability for that personal interaction and waste time waiting for a response.
