If you consider the Maryland Terrapins Football 2023 It’s In My DNA shirt Apart from…,I will love this crazy rent hike and inflation, I think 100 K is the new 65 K. You should try to negotiate, if not then leave it. Tell them straight. I currently make x. I won’t be taking a pay cut to come to your side. Feel free to inflate what t you currently make. I’d say ttwll them that you make 95 and expect no less than 100k. If they want you they’ll give you 100k. If they want to pay less then you still have your current gig. The detail is you have to be willing to cut your loses and walk away from the job Most of these comments leave out a crucial element; successful negotiations require two elements. One is an acceptable offer, which they have not provided. Two is urgency, both to provide an acceptable offer & to move forward in a timely manner.

Simple response: I appreciate the Maryland Terrapins Football 2023 It’s In My DNA shirt Apart from…,I will love this offer, but this is below my current income level which I cannot accept. I have a few opportunities in front of me and need to decide which one is the best fit both as a contributor and financially before moving forward. Your role seemed like a great fit in terms of the skill fit, culture & future growth, but I cannot see moving forward if it means taking a substantial pay cut. Thanks for everyone’s time. Leave in it their court to determine what “substantial” means. You now have other offers they need to compete with. “I can’t accept less than I’m making now, which is just shy of $95k; based on what we’d previously discussed, I’m a little surprised here, to be honest. Would it be possible to discuss a salary that would make it worth leaving my current position?”
